Confederate soldier. A bound typescript (n.d.) of Turnbo's journal in which he records his personal observations regarding the actions and views of the citizens of Indian Territory and the states of Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas during the Civil War.
The personal observations of Turnbo on the actions and reactions of the people in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Indian Territory to the Civil War. It is the Confederate point of view, and includes accounts of the extra-legal activities of the Jayhawkers and Mountain Boomers of the Ozarks. 1861-1865.
