Aug. 5, 1826, June 12, 1827, Aug. 26, 1828."Chahta Nation N E District, August 28th 1828, Be it resolved that if any person cuts off, bites off or takes off in any way whatever the ear of a person, he or she so offending, shall pay a fine of ten dollars; if not, receive on the bare back ten stripes..."
